About Us

Clearlake Oaks County Water District is committed to providing safe, clean, and reliable water to the residents we serve. Our mission is to protect public health while responsibly managing and maintaining our water and wastewater systems for both current and future generations.

The District operates under the authority of the County Water District Act (California Water Code Section 30000, et seq.) and maintains approximately 38 miles of water pipeline and 21 miles of sewer pipeline. We proudly serve more than 2,100 water customers and 1,900 sewer customers throughout the Clearlake Oaks community.

The District's Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) Municipal Service Review (MSR) and Sphere of Influence (SOI) were adopted on July 17, 2013.

The Municipal Service Review (MSR) evaluates the District's ability to provide services, including current and future service needs, infrastructure, governance, and financial capacity. The Sphere of Influence (SOI) identifies the District's probable future service area and boundary, helping guide orderly growth and the efficient delivery of public services.
